I am a postdoctoral fellow at Leiden University, the Netherlands. I currently work on a project on language control in speaking, language switching and translation (using fMRI, EEG, TMS, and behavioral measures) for which I received a 3-year grant from the Netherlands Science Foundation (VENI). From September until December 2008 I was in Rovereto on a Visiting professor grant from the University of Trento. In general, my research interests are in neurocognitive and experimental approaches to cognitive control, language and bilingualism, executive functioning, working memory, and individual differences. Recently I became interested in network models (ancestral graphs) of self-monitoring.
